Bio:
A Duke alumna (T93), former practicing attorney, and Boston law firm librarian, Laura Scott returned to Duke in 2005. She currently serves as the Assistant Director for Reference, Clinics and Outreach at the Goodson Law Library. There, Laura coordinates legal reference services for Duke faculty, staff, and students, as well as members of the public. With other members of the Law Library's reference team, she supports the research needs and instructional activities of the Law School's twelve legal clinics. Laura also leads a cross-functional team focused on user outreach and making the Law Library a welcoming and productive space for all its patrons. In addition, she teaches introductory and advanced legal research courses annually.

Outside of work, Laura is a mom of three and a baking enthusiast.
