Bio:
A collaborative and innovative Clinical Operations Supervisor with the Duke Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation department, Cathy overseas the daily operations of the Cardiac Rehabilitation department. She works with people to help them reach their personal goals. Working with Cardiac Rehab patients, she prescribes their exercise routine, educates them on cardiac health and wellness, and strives to meet people where they are in their stage of change. Cathy encourages, engages, and educates patients on healthy lifestyle changes.

Cathy's areas of expertise include cardiac rehabilitation, exercise prescription, and exercise stress testing.

Cathy completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education at the University of Maine in Orono, ME. Her master's degree in Exercise Science was completed at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. She is a registered clinical exercise physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine.

Cathy currently resides in Durham, NC with her husband and four children.
