Bio:
Katie Pruka is a Clinical Services Coordinator for outpatient rehabilitation services. She is also a licensed physical therapist specializing in orthopedic and vestibular rehabilitation. Katie coordinates daily clinic operations for multiple outpatient clinics across Wake County. She develops positive, collaborative team environments while supporting the continued growth and development of her clinical team. Katie is involved with leading quality improvement initiatives within the department, seeking to improve care delivery and patient access to quality health care. Part of her efforts have also included optimization of the Electronic Health Record to improve documentation efficiency and to support excellence in clinical practice through template design.

Katie completed her undergraduate degree in Exercise & Rehabilitative Sciences at Winona State University in Winona, MN. She graduated with her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Duke University in Durham, NC. Katie currently resides in Raleigh, NC, with her husband, Aaron, and their two children.
