Bio:
Alisha Couch is a Departmental Business Manager for the Campus Grants Management Team and sister office, the Campus Awards Management Team. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a BA in Anthropology and a Master's degree in Management and Leadership from Montreat College. Alisha has 15 years of experience serving in a variety of roles within higher education and has been employed at Duke for two years. Alisha is upbeat, enthusiastic, and talented in interpersonal relations with a special knack for problem-solving. Alisha uses a positive leadership approach to her work in financial management, personnel management, and customer service. Alisha enjoys traveling with her family and spending the summers in her home state of Michigan. The kitchen serves as Alisha's biggest creative outlet. She enjoys experimenting with flavors and is a fan of Mediterranean cuisine and all things spice. Alisha lives in Pittsboro, NC with her husband, Adam, their two sons and dog, Maggie.
