Bio:
Amanda Douglass is an Assistant Manager for the inpatient rehabilitation department at Duke Raleigh
Hospital. As a licensed Physical Therapist, she has worked for many years in the hospital setting and has a
passion for working with patients to maximize their functional potential. In her role as Assistant Manager
she coordinates daily clinical operations, serves as a mentor to staff, and strives to support and promote a
positive team environment. Amanda is a problem solver and enjoys collaborating with others to get the job
done.
Amanda completed her undergraduate education at Elon College (NC) with a Bachelor's degree in Sports
Medicine/Exercise Sport Science with a minor in Spanish. She went on to graduate with her Doctorate degree
in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (FL).
Amanda enjoys travelling and lives in Cary, NC with her husband and 2 children.
