Erica Walker is a dedicated and personable professional who embarked on her career journey in 2009 at Duke University. She has always been passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, and her educational pursuits reflect her commitment to serving the community.

After enrolling at North Carolina Central University, Erica pursued her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. During her undergraduate studies, she developed a strong foundation in understanding the complexities of the justice system and its impact on society. Inspired by her desire to contribute to the healthcare sector, she further honed her skills and knowledge by completing a Master's in Healthcare Administration.

Throughout her academic journey, Erica demonstrated an unwavering dedication to providing exceptional customer service. She recognizes the importance of treating individuals with respect, empathy, and professionalism, which she believes are essential qualities for fostering positive relationships in any field.

Currently, Erica serves as a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator as Team Lead for the Emergency Medicine Clinical Research Team, where she thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Her role involves coordinating and overseeing research projects, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines, and facilitating effective communication between research teams, patients, and stakeholders. When it come to her team the support provided for them is unimaginable and shows how much she appreciates and loves them. Her attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively have made her an invaluable asset to the team.

Driven by her ambition to continually grow and expand her skill set, Erica is eagerly looking forward to completing this leadership program. She recognizes the importance of leadership in driving innovation, fostering teamwork, and inspiring others. Through this program, she aims to acquire new skills, strategies, and perspectives that will empower her to make an even greater impact in her current role and future endeavors.

Outside of her professional life, Erica enjoys spending quality time with her family and embarking on cruises, where she can relax and rejuvenate. Most mornings you'll find her with her four-legged exercise buddy Luca. She is a people person at heart, thriving in social interactions and building meaningful relationships.
