Bio:
Bridget Booher is the associate editor of Duke
Magazine, published by the Duke Alumni Association
(DAA). She helps shape the editorial and visual
content of each issue, writes substantive feature
articles, and represents the magazine across campus.
From 2001-2006 she was assistant director of the Hart
Leadership Program at the Terry Sanford Institute of
Public Policy (now the Sanford School).
Booher served on the executive and communications
committees for the 50th Commemoration of Black Students at
Duke; and serves on the Women in Leadership and
Philanthropy Initiative internal steering committee and
the DAA's 2014 Women' Weekend steering committee. She is
the author of Women at Duke Illustrated (2014), published
by Duk University Archives/David M. Rubenstein Rare Book &
Manuscript Library. She earned her bachelor's (1982) and
master's(1992) degrees from Duke.
