Bio:
John Zhu is the senior public affairs officer at the Duke University Graduate School, where he oversees and implements the school's communication strategy. Before joining the school in 2014, John spent seven years as the assistant director of communications at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. John began his career with a decade in journalism, first as a reporter and later as a designer and copy editor. From there, John's interest in the visual side of communication led him to design positions in the nonprofit and B2B advertising sectors before he transitioned into public relations in higher education. John holds a bachelor's and a master's degree from the School of Media and Journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
