Bio:
The Reverend Rhonda Parker is Director of Field Education at Duke Divinity School. Prior to joining the Divinity School in 2011, she served as director of a local non-profit ministry. She brings significant experience in church and non-profit ministry leadership, especially in administration, finance, grant writing and program development. She has taught and preached throughout the state, and has designed and taught creation care workshops focusing on environmental stewardship and practices of faith at both regional and national events. She enjoys writing, being outdoors, and mentoring persons discerning a call to ministry.

An ordained elder in the North Carolina Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church, Rhonda and her husband, Allen, met as undergraduates at Duke in 1988 and are the parents of 5 children: Ben, Emily, Greg, Paige and Payton. Rhonda obtained her Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity in 2006.
