Bio:
Dylan Sugiyama advises international students, faculty, researchers, staff, physicians, nurses and other clinical staff on visa and immigration matters. He supervises a team of advisors who provide expert immigration services to the University, Medical Center and Health System.

Dylan has been with Duke since 2009. Prior to that he was a practicing attorney and worked as an Asylum Officer for the U.S. Government, adjudicating applications for political asylum in the U.S. Dylan holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Davis, a master's degree from UC Berkeley and a law degree from New York University. He lives on a hobby farm in Pittsboro with his wife and three daughters.
