Joining Duke University in the Corporate HR Department Team in July 2016 as the Manager of Benefits & Communications, Debra Palmer has over 20 years of Human Resources experience in various industries including insurance, manufacturing, higher educational, healthcare and marketing. Her relocation from Michigan brings broad experience in benefits, payroll, talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations and training.

Debra has a MS in Administration and is a Society of Human Resource Management Certified Professional(SHRM-CP) as well as being certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
