Bio:
As the Director of the Capital Budget Office, Joe's responsibilities include: advising senior leadership on all matters pertaining to capital project investments, planning and administering the University's annual capital budget and five-year capital plan. In addition, Joe provides financial oversight and analyses of capital projects, prepares and presents capital reports to the Board of Trustees, and manages the Universit's capital project approval process.

In the role of Director, Facilities Finance, Joe oversees financial modeling, analysis and accounting for five major business units (construction project management, utilities and engineering, building maintenance, housekeeping and landscape services) with an annual operating budget of $130 million. Furthermore, Joe supports the VP of Facilities by coordinating strategic initiatives and leading special projects.

Mr. Stewart holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Administration from West Virginia University, a Masters in Liberal Studies from Duke University, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
