Bio:
As Chief of Staff, Dr. Kelly Soderberg facilitates the ability of Duke Human Vaccine Institute leadership to manage administrative and scientific functions by advising the Director regarding key constituencies, providing context and background information on issues, and coordinating research, projects, meetings and initiatives. In addition, she oversees the management of the Duke Center for HIV/AIDS Vaccine Immunology and Immunogen Discovery (CHAVI-ID) program.

Dr. Soderberg also collaborates with principal investigators to identify scientific questions significant to their research projects and identifies additional problems and/or questions that arise from data analysis, scientific leadership suggestions, and annual scientific planning meetings.
