Bio:
Jennifer Vizas (Jen) is the Director of Projects, Services Adoption, Communications & Engagement (PACE) in the Office of Information Technology. This team with expertise in project management, communication, and training and is responsible for rolling out small to large scale service implementations; including new or major changes to Duke's technology environment. The team manages all aspects of the end-to-end service implementation by leading virtual teams of functional and technical staff. Jen has been with OIT since July 2000. Prior to this position, she was a project manager for the OIT-Project Office for 7 years and was the Manager of OIT-Academic Technology Services for 4 years. During her time with OIT, she took time off to focus on raising her children. Prior to coming to Duke, Jen was the Director of Information Technology at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. She oversaw the delivery of centralized information technology services to the Hood College community.
