Bio:
In his current role, Ken manages a team of five principal auditors in performing financial and operational audits, advisory services and other special projects for the university. Known for effectively collaborating with clients, he advocates for reasonable solutions that balance risk tolerance with practical risk mitigation. Previously, he led the data analytics program to promote utilization of data analysis and visualization across the internal audit life cycle to assess risk, simplify engagement fieldwork, analyze root causes and perform targeted audit procedures.

Prior to joining Duke, Ken worked as a certified public accountant with Cherry Bekaert LLP in Raleigh, NC and worked in financial administration at North Carolina State University. Ken holds a Master's of Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Bachelors of Arts from Skidmore College. He is a certified public accountant in the state of North Carolina.
