Bio:
Ann-Louise Aguiar is Senior Director, Regional Engagement at the Duke Alumni Association where she leads the strategic development of alumni programming and alumni volunteer involvement in the Northeast, Denver and the Northwest. She came to Duke in 2016 after serving ten years as the Manager of Alumni Education and Travel at UNC-Chapel Hill. She has degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill and Manhattan School of Music.

Although a native of North Carolina, Ann-Louise lived many years in New York City, Frankfurt, Vienna and Mumbai. She and her husband, Newman Aguiar, moved to Durham in 1995 where they have made their home in Trinity Park with son Joshua, age 17, and two Labrador Retrievers. They love international travel and are avid supporters of the Duke-UNC Rotary Peace Center.
