Bio:
Dr. Blackshear has worked at Duke University since 2001 in various capacities. Currently, he is an Academic Dean in Trinity College of Arts and Sciences. He is also co-Director of the Duke SPIRE (STEM Pathways for Inclusion, Research, and Excellence) Fellows Program. At Duke, he has served as a psychologist at Duke's Counseling and Psychological Services, a support liaison for the Trinity College's Early Alert System, and Clinical Director of the Academic Resource Center. Additionally, he was the first appointed Duke Student Ombudsman. He also teaches Forensic Psychology in Psychology and Neuroscience.
