Bio:
Jenny Johnson has worked in Career Services for ten years and currently leads the Engineering Master's Career & Professional Development at Duke University. Prior to Duke, Jenny served as the Student Affairs Coordinator at Campbell University's College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences managing career services, orientation, student organization advising, and leadership programs. She has a M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from North Carolina State University and a B.S. in Accounting degree from Meredith College.
Jenny is active in service to the profession and is a member of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) and the North Carolina Associated of Colleges and Employers (NCACE). She served for three years as a Directorate Member for ACPA's Commission for Career Services and in multiple capacities for NCACE. She has presented at national conferences on the topics of international students, professional development, and assessment. In 2014 she was named a Rising Star by ACPA's Commission for Career Services and awarded the Furney K. James Award for her involvement with NCACE. In 2015 she received Duke Engineering's Capers and Marion McDonald Award for excellence in mentoring and advising.
