Bio:
Marsha has been with Duke for 24 years. During her tenure, she has had the opportunity to provide her human resources expertise in the Health System, Medical Center, and the University. She has over 15 years of experience in the human resources field and currently serves as the Human Resources Director for The Graduate School. In this role, she provides professional human resources services in the areas of recruitment, placement and retention, budget planning, classification and salary administration, interpretation of personnel policies, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and employee diversity and work culture initiatives.
She serves as the Chief Diversity Officer for The Graduate School. She is responsible for collaborating diversity initiatives with the Provost Management Center and all areas of The Graduate School.
She actively serves as a chair and panel member in the Duke Dispute Resolution Process. Marsha graduated Cum Laude and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Technical Management with a concentration in Human Resources from DeVry University.
