Bio:
Miranda McCall is the Senior Associate Director of Duke
University's Karsh Office of Undergraduate Financial
Support. In addition to supervising the counseling staff,
working with students and families, and managing the day-
to-day operations of the aid office, Miranda is also
responsible for generating and maintaining the office's
web content and communications. Miranda is a recent chair
of the Campus Need Analysis Roundtable, a national
conference focusing on financial aid methodology and
policy, and Miranda has served as financial aid's regional
representative to the College Board as well as faculty for
the Financial Aid Institute. Additionally, Miranda serves
on the Financial Aid Standards and Services Advisory
Committee (FASSAC), responsible for informing
Institutional Methodology policy and practice. Miranda
holds an M.B.A. from Meredith College's Graduate School of
Business, and in addition to being enthusiastic about
educational access and the refinement of financial aid
methodology, Miranda also enjoys a new role as a parent to
a very active (and very sleepless) one-year-old.
