Bio:
Jeannine Sato is director of communications at Duke's Office of Durham and Community Affairs. Jeannine started her career as a broadcast news reporter and transitioned to public relations and marketing communications in 2000. She spent several years working in the private sector, then four years at Carolina Donor Services to promote organ donation in NC. She originally came to Duke in 2008 to help launch the Durham Connects (now Family Connects) newborn nurse home visiting program. Prior to DCA she was communications director at Duke's Office of Information Technology for nearly five years. Jeannine holds a BA in broadcast journalism from SUNY Buffalo State College and a master's degree in Liberal Studies from Duke University.
