Bio:
Michelle earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida and holds a Masters degree in Public Relations from UNC Chapel Hill. She started her career at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon in Media Relations. From there, she moved into the Communications Office, followed by seven years as Director of Events for the President's Office. To be closer to family, Michelle and her husband, Roland, wanted to move to the RTP area of North Carolina. She was thrilled to have secured her current position at Duke University. Michelle loves hiking and camping, an interest she shares with her husband. They have discovered "hidden" hiking trails in their area of North Carolina and she looks forward to exploring the NC mountains soon!
