Bio:
Jameca is an experienced business manager with her career at Duke progressively spanning over 20 years. She currently serves as the Director of Business Services in Duke Libraries, overseeing the financial operations for a complex, multi-faceted organization with more than 250 FTE and an annual budget of more than $35M.

Taking a cue from Duke's commitment to diversity and inclusion, in 2020 Jameca co-founded Duke University Libraries' Black Staff Alliance (DULBSA). This group was brought together to provide community, support, and creative and collaborative ideas around diversity, equity, and inclusion amongst library staff. The groundwork and efforts of this group have been acknowledged not only by the staff of DUL, but by other departments around Duke as well.

In addition to her commitment and service to Duke, Jameca also serves as an Executive Board Member and Treasurer to SEEDS, a local non-profit aimed at teaching life and leadership skills to youth in Durham.

Jameca graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Carolina Wesleyan College with a Bachelor's in Business Administration and earned an MBA at Fayetteville State University.
