Bio:
Lenora Abu Sweilem serves as a Senior SAP Financial Analyst with Duke Administrative Systems Management. She has over 20 years of professional expertise in varied areas of Accounting, Finance, and IT, particularly in the areas of financial planning, reporting and analysis; strategic development; enterprise systems, and performance measurement and management. Ms. Abu Sweilem has spent the last 11 years building her leadership skills and expertise in all phases of financial and technological lifecycle management, project strategy, and design.

Prior to joining Duke, Ms. Abu Sweilem was a Principal Consultant for a Management and Technology Firm. In this client facing role, she was accountable for the strategic design of projects and the management of high-performing teams that delivered results on-time and within budget. This leadership role allowed Ms. Abu Sweilem to ensure the client needs were achieved within the planned/existing infrastructure, delivered on time, and were scalable for future needs.

In another prior role, Ms. Abu Sweilem held the position of Vice President of Finance for an International Manufacturing Firm. In that role, as a member of the Executive Team, she implemented organizational strategy aligned to corporate objectives and Board of Director initiatives. In this leadership role, she set cross-functional collaborative goals for her organization which fostered employee ownership and engagement throughout the organization.

Ms. Abu Sweilem prides herself on being a proactive communicator, and an active listener. She is a meticulous professional with excellent analytical and strategy building skills. Throughout her career she capitalized on professional development opportunities, continuous learning, knowledge sharing and building cohesion across and within teams.
