Bio:
Geoff Krouse, A.B. '93, J.D. '97 is Assistant Dean for Alumni & Development and a Senior Lecturing Fellow at Duke Law School. As Assistant Dean, Geoff manages the Major Gifts and Annual Giving teams, drives critical strategic fundraising initiatives, and serves as Regional Director in key alumni markets like New York. Geoff has practiced law for almost 20 years in the areas of corporate finance, private equity, and mergers & acquisitions, and remains Of Counsel at Smith Anderson in Raleigh, where he had been a Partner. In addition to his busy law practice, Geoff has been a dedicated volunteer for Duke and Duke Law School. He has taught a Winter- session course and has served as a member of the Duke Law Alumni Association Board of Directors, an attorney mentor in the Start-Up Ventures Clinic, and as Co-Chair of the Duke Law Club of the Triangle. He also has been active in the community in various non-profit board positions, including six years as a member (two as chair) of the Board of Trustees of the Ronald McDonald House of Durham and Wake.
