Bio:
Julie Siegmund is the Director of Real Estate for Duke University. Julie offers over 20 years of experience in real estate with a background in asset management, project management, and lease administration. Julie oversees the combined leased portfolio for Duke University, Duke University Health System and the Private Diagnostic Clinic. This encompasses 230 leases and approximately 5 million square feet of office, medical, research lab, and educational space. In addition to this, Julie works with developers, building owners, project managers and other real estate service experts to advance Duke's real estate strategy. Julie leads Duke Real Estate's management of the gift property process including transition and disposition of real estate assets. Prior to working at Duke, Julie managed property assets and construction projects for Grubb & Ellis and their investment clients. Julie is from the Triangle area and a member of TCREW- Triangle Commercial Real Estate Women. She is a graduate of UNC-Wilmington, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies.
