Sumetrice currently works as a Human Resources Director at the Sanford School of Public Policy. She has a successful track record of collaborating with others in a complex matrixed organization to achieve human resource- based goals, priorities and business objectives. Sumetrice provides strategic human resource counsel regarding engagement and organizational alignment. She is a subject matter expert in performance management, employee relations, policy interpretation, compensation, labor management, facilitation, talent acquisition, training and development and diversity, equity and inclusion. Sumetrice earned a Master's of Public Administration (MPA) with a Human Resource Management concentration at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a B.A. in Political Science and Public Administration from Elon University.
