Bio:
David is the Senior Manager for the Network Engineering team, responsible for planning, designing, and implementing all aspects of network systems. He leads his team in developing monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the Duke network remains responsive to changes in demand. David also keeps up to date with the latest technologies and best practices. With over 20 years of experience in computer networking, David spent 10 years at a consulting firm before joining Duke in 2015. He initially started as a Senior Networking and Security Engineer before transitioning into his current role as Senior Manager for the Network Engineering team.
