Bio:
Summer Webbink is the Associate Director for Compliance Services within the Duke Office of Audit Risk and Compliance. Her team provides ongoing compliance oversight and operations for the University including conflict of interest assessment, policies administration and assessments, case management/investigation and administration of the University Speak Up program. Summer began her tenure at Duke as part of the University Audit team in the Office of Audit Risk and Compliance in 2014, transitioned to the Sponsored Programs Assurance team in 2016 and then began her current role in early 2019, helping to build the Compliance Services program. Prior to Duke, she was in the audit and assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP for four years. Summer enjoys learning more about her alma mater and is enthusiastic to continue collaborating with compliance partners across Duke. Summer received her Bachelor of Arts from Duke University and her Master of Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Summer is also a certified public accountant (North Carolina).
