Meghan Weiseman

Bio:
Meghan Weiseman has been a part of the Duke Athletics
staff since 2007 and currently serves as the Assistant
Director of Athletics/Employee Engagement & Experience.
In this role, she leads and coordinates the human
resource policies and activities within the athletics
department. Her responsibilities encompass performance
management, employee relations, developing diversity,
equity, and inclusion strategies. She also plays a key
role in overseeing NCAA compliance in HR matters,
managing the Duke Open Door Initiative Internship
Program, collaborating with university general counsel on
athletic staff contracts and overseeing the HR budget.
Weiseman's career at Duke began as an Equipment Manager,
a role she held for five years, followed by a position as
Assistant Director of Recreation Facilities, where she
oversaw the Brodie Recreation Center. She then advanced
to become the Director of Equipment Operations/Olympic
Sports, overseeing the strategic management of equipment
needs and the equipment staff for various Olympic sports.
A Villanova alumna, Weiseman completed her undergraduate
studies in history and furthered her education with a
master's degree in sport and recreation administration
from Temple University.
