Bio:
Jay leads a new effort within Duke Alumni Engagement and
Development to engage non-alumni and non-parent
individuals, families, and organizations. He came to Duke
from the University of Notre Dame, where he was the
embedded development liaison first for the Vice President
for Research and then the Dean of the Keough School of
Global Affairs. Prior to this, Jay taught and conducted
classified research at Carnegie Mellon University after
serving as a civilian counterintelligence and
counterterrorism analyst for the Naval Criminal
Investigative Service (NCIS). Jay has a master's degree
in strategic intelligence from the National Intelligence
University and a bachelor's degree in economics from
Notre Dame.
