Michael Faber has spent nearly two decades at Duke University shaping programs that explore the intersection of technology, creativity, and education. He currently leads the Innovation Co-Lab, OIT's tech-focused program that supports thousands of students, faculty, and staff in learning new technical skills and experimenting with emerging tools. Originally launched as a small pilot in 2012, the Co-Lab has grown into a campus-wide resource known for its accessible approach to learning and hands- on exploration. Michael's work often involves building cross-campus partnerships, designing inclusive educational programs, and staying curious about what's next, especially in areas like artificial intelligence and digital fabrication. A Duke graduate himself, he brings that perspective to his work, focusing on making complex technologies approachable, useful, and fun for today's students.
