Bio:
Yvette Massey is the Chief of Staff in the Office of the Dean at Duke University School of Nursing. As Chief of Staff, Yvette executes an array of responsibilities; external leadership searches, HR functions, event administration, budget & financial planning, Dean's Lecture Series and directing staff in the Office of the Dean. Yvette has over 10 plus years of experience in academic administration. Prior to joining Duke University, Yvette was the Administrative Manager at MnEEP (Minnesota Education Equity Partnership) where she led administrative management for the board & organization, audit led, budget planning, HR recruiting and onboarding for employees, consultants, and interns. Her professional work experience spans a variety of organizations, including a nonprofit organization, corporations, and institutions of higher education. Yvette is a graduate of University of Minnesota where she earned a BA in Communication Studies. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, developing new recipes, visiting local restaurants and taste testing Red Velvet cupcakes.
