General Description of the Job Class

Perform all required grounds maintenance functions in hospital environment.

Duties and Responsibilities of this Level

*Clean parking deck and pads with power vacuum *Operate power machines in a safe manner *Keep all trash containers emptied and free of odor and dirt. *Keep all flower beds free of trash *Keep stairwells free of dust, bugs and trash *Clean all window glass on front of doors, security office, and first floor glass of main building. *Remove all soiled linen and trash as needed *Remove all Bio-Medical waste

*Label all boxes

*Seal all boxes

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must be able to read and write and communicate in English. Must be able to rotate shifts. Good knowledge of outside power equipment.
