General Description of the Job Class

Manages the personnel and staffing of the office. Coordinates the record keeping mechanisms for the office. Directs all efforts to provide for the most efficient collection of Accounts Receivable. Directs the efforts of the office to provide for the highest quality of service. Maintains compliance with all standards which the office is required by regulatory bodies. Directs the financial affairs of the practice. Communicates effectively and appropriately.

Duties and Responsibilities of this Level

Required Qualifications at this Level

Education

High School graduate or equivalent. Technical, business college or junior college business program graduate required.

Experience

5-7 years of experience in physician practice billing and office coordination required. A working knowledge of computers is required. Excellent human relations and oral/written communications skills.

Experience in physicians practice coordination.

Supervisory experience preferred.

Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification
